TRAINING COURSE FOR MENTORS WORKING WITH IMMIGRANT FAMILIES (2013)
The training for mentors working with immigrant families was conducted by the private Foundation Can Gelabert on the 22./23. of November in Barcelona. It was aimed especially at the team, collaborators and interested people in the Project „Families“ and followed the approach of continous and active formation.
WORKSHOP ON „BIOGRAPHICAL WORK THROUGH THE COLLAGE“ (2008)
Workshop for seniors, held at the headquarters of the Foundation. Through the workshop and appreciation of the participants’ vital experiences, it was intended to foster their integration and participation, while reinforcing their self-esteem and self-confidence.
SEMINAR: “HÄUSLICHE GEWALT: PRÄVENTION” (JUNI 2008)
Es stellte das erste Seminar dar, das in Vallendar (Deutschland) für spanische Migrantinnen und Migranten mit dem Thema „Gewalt gegen Frauen“ organisiert wurde. Die Veranstaltung wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit der Spanischen Weiterbildungsakademie (AEF) und der Generaldirektion für Migration des spanischen Ministeriums für Arbeit und Soziales durchgeführt.
SEMINAR: “PREVENTING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE” (JUNE 2008)
It was the first seminar organized in Vallendar (Germany) for Spanish migrants with the theme “violence against women”. The event was planned in collaboration with the AEF and the General Directorate of Emigration of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
PROJECT ITACA (2007)
Project in collaboration with the Acollida i Esperança Foundation that provides an apartment in Barcelona for the reception and comprehensive care of AIDS patients. The aim is to enable them to opt out from marginality and to facilitate their social inclusion.
PROJECT RACONS (2007)
The aim was to convey values, fixed rituals and behavioral patterns of primary schoolchildren. This project was carried out in collaboration with the Escola Labuoré in Barcelona.
PROJECT TEIXIDORS (2005)
Project for the repair of looms of the Terrassa Weaving Co-operative to promote the economic independence and social integration of persons with learning difficulties.
